2. Description of Service
PatternMD is an anonymous community health platform that allows users to log symptoms, share trigger notes, and discover patterns shared by others. PatternMD is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.
3. Medical Disclaimer
THE INFORMATION ON PATTERNMD IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND COMMUNITY PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR PHYSICIAN OR OTHER QUALIFIED HEALTH PROVIDER WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE REGARDING A MEDICAL CONDITION. 4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PatternMD. By using the platform you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use this platform.
5. Anonymous Use
PatternMD is designed to be used anonymously. You are assigned an anonymous ID upon registration. You agree not to post any information that could identify yourself or any other individual, including names, photos, addresses, or contact information.
6. User Conduct
You agree to use PatternMD only for lawful purposes. You agree not to post false, misleading, or harmful information. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity. You agree not to attempt to identify other users. You agree not to use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others. You agree not to attempt to access other users' accounts or data. Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account.
7. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you post on PatternMD. However, by posting content you grant PatternMD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your anonymized content for the purposes of operating the platform and conducting health pattern research.
8. Data Use for Research
By using PatternMD you acknowledge and agree that your anonymized data, including symptom posts, trigger notes, and profile information, may be shared with or sold to medical institutions, researchers, and healthcare organizations for health pattern research purposes. 9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding on PatternMD is the exclusive property of PatternMD and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
PatternMD is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatternMD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the platform in the past 12 months.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@patternmd.com.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
